With all the insight about AI and its limitations, AI is here and being integrated evermore into human endeavors. So, how best to work with it? Take the chef's hand on the plate. From a literal perspective that's annoying. Even objectionable. From an artist's perspective, why not? Hallucinations are great. Like God, dreams and makes life bearable-- once we've had our fill of Big Macs and chili. Of course, we don't want our docs to hallucinate about our body parts. So, let's take up the AI challenge in more funky ways than just the literal.
I say to take AI with a grain of salt. I'm thinking that even with retail Ai, we're going to get some reasonable ability to twist it towards our perspectives. I predict you will have your AI and I will have mine, and we'll send it out shopping for what we want. And we'll have it arguing with the company AI on customer service so we won't have to wait on hold.
I think AI illusions are to be expected. So we should remember that we can prank them, and some of them have been pre-pranked. There will be AI beaters. There will be AI luxury models. There will be punk AIs. Hell, there will be Palestinian protest AIs. I'm writing about illusions today, it being April fools day.
