Most underrated black intellectuals: after Thomas Sowell, you two!
Great show.
Incidentally, on minimum wage, the great Thomas Sowell said: "You can make the minimum wage anything you want. The real minimum wage is zero."
I am also for drug legalization -- PROVIDED THAT drug users are held fully accountable for their actions. For example, no taxpayer-funded Narcans, needles, and drug injection centers. And letting insurance companies require additional premia for health conditions in medical insurance and safety hazards in driver insurance that are demonstrably correlated with drug use. The two together -- the legalization and the proviso -- harmonize, I believe, with true Libertarianism. Legalization without the proviso is not true Libertarianism.
Sad to see you go! You've been a great interviewer and I've really appreciated a lot of these episodes. Great combination of intellectual probing, examination of value systems, and getting to know people on a relatable human level. All delivered in a refreshingly low-key, casual, unpretentious style.
Congraulations and very best wishes, Connie. I'm already looking forward to your future guest host episodes. You have a wonderful interview style (and were unafraid to be interviewed yourself)! I especially appreciated hearing how each guest's past shaped their present. Listening to your FBT podcasts was uplifting - you highlighted people who live their lives with integrity and conviction. Thank you.

Congrats, @Jake Mackey, you're now a “black” intellectual for the month of May.
😉😂👏🏿
It's a great honor.
A woman who's anti-abortion...no wonder conservatives love her.
