Many people, but certainly not all, have the time to listen to Pod Casts and to long oral interviews. I am among those who simply do not have the time. I fear that I am missing some important contributions. Are these Pod Casts also in transcript form and I have just missed that option? I can speed read many times faster than pod cast.
I’m kind of surprised at the guidance of treating, say, racialized black kids of adopted racialized white parents rather differently. But I guess I can see the potential (potential meaning not guaranteed) issues arising when the child gets older. Intentionally Involving someone who looks like the child may or may not be necessary.
I always thought it was weird when anyone of any skin color would say you “can’t” or “shouldn’t” adopt someone of a different skin color. I think it’s unhelpful.
