It is so lovely, so enlightening, to hear your dulcet voice. Your enunciation, your intonation, your rhythm... are perfection. You weren't speaking; you were singing. You invoked tears to my eyes. I thank you for this opportunity. This may be... I don't know, peripheral... but I used to date a gal who wore a padded bra because she was almost flat-chested. I told her there was nothing to be embarrassed of, no one to compete with. I thought her form was ideal. And Tiffanie... this passage: "Those who must have their womanly parts cut and then sewn and then re-opened and then re-sewn just so that their husbands know for sure that he is the only one." This is ghastly. Which cultures do this?
Thank you for taking the time to make note of women, who they are, their struggles and blessings. These words so beautiful and true. I thought about many women I know who experienced many of these things. And I thought about myself. God created me, and I am a woman. What a blessing to be alive. These words go well with the lyrics of Helen Reddy’s song, “I Am Woman.”
