Ep. 8 - Parental Rights are Fundamental (Latasha H. Fields)
Mostly sounds cool but there is one issue. What would happen if she was my mother and I told her I decided that I was an agnostic at 12?
LOL
Way back in the early 1970s, I was corralled into being the chair of the 4Cs -- community coordinated child care. My wife and I had been hired as a hippie couple to run what was then seen as revolutionary child care center on the premises of San Diego City College. Speaking to what should have been reality ended up being a work in progress until the community colleges institutionized those on campus centers. There's been backsliding but it was an important step for students as parents to continue their education. My sense and hope is that Latasha succeeds in reforming what we call education. Hers is a different context and time but the spirit guiding her calls to many who have, are and will follow as parents who channel their children's emergence into this world of ours with love, pragmatics and -- I can't think of that final word to end this sentence -- so help me out here.
