I prefer the term "home education" personally. Maybe it's because I was public schooled and see what the school system has become in this country. Even "home school" programs are regulated and controlled by the government. This leaves a stigma in my mind around the word school. I want my children to be educated, not schooled with propaganda by thought police. That's my 2 cents on that, what do you think?
